CardioQ™

An oesophageal Doppler monitor that displays readings obtained from oesophageal Doppler probes (see below). It is a continuous, flow-based, beat-to-beat, minimally invasive, cardiac output and fluid status monitor used by medical professionals during surgery or in critical care.

Oesophageal Doppler Probes

These probes are inserted down the oesophagus in sedated patients and use ultrasound waves to measure blood flow through the descending aorta. A range of probes is available for use depending on the type of patient and clinical setting.
